The Masters' Wall

The Original Four: Gale the horse, River the wolf, Blaze the stag, and Stone the Lion
- "A post about your class assignments, you say? I am amazed and in awe, madam!"

Here a post, there a post, everywhere a post post!

I'm hoping to use this drawing in my final for 2D animation. It's so cool! Now it just needs color and a texture and then it's good to go! Well, it would if I could put color in the assignment...

Crossing the Geekdoms 7 (Generation 4)

Diamondclaw

Pearlbubble

Platinumtail
-... I got nothing! Pokemon games as Warrior Cats, everybody!

Third post in a row! Let's keep it rolling! Diamond and Pearl are so cool as cats. BUT Platinum's design needs more work (better lineart for a start).
Also, fun fact, Pearlbubble's eyes is an actual cat eye color call Ojos Azules (a rare mutation found in feral cat genes causing cornflower blue eyes). I do my research.
Lastly, the naming of cats is a difficult matter (laughs, but no one gets the reference) especially with Generation 4 game titles. Thankfully that changes for Generation 5... :)

Crossing the Geekdoms 6 (Generation 3)

Rubypelt

Sapphiresky

Emeraldeyes
- Jen used Sketch! It was super effective!

Hello, people.

Just finished the three cats from Generation 3! Rubypelt's front leg is a bit wonky. WRAAA! (OCD powers activate!) Emeraldeyes is sooo pretty though. I was originally going for a spotted tabby for her look, but then I realized that I didn't have any tortoiseshell or calico cats so there you have it! And maybe, just maybe, she'll be a mother in a few months or so (Generation3remakeistotallyinprocess). Until then, let's just leave them be.

Crossing the Geekdoms 5 (Gen 2 revealed!)

Goldfeather

Silverwing

Crystalwhisker
- You should put up a repel if you go Into the Wild!

Hola, Amigos.

More from my Crossing the Geekdoms collection. And lemmie just say... Crystalwhisker's eyes were obnoxious to do. I used the gradient tool to get that gradual change from brown to green. Never again.

I'm in the process of drawing of a Heartpaw and a Soulpaw as well, so stay posted!

Welcome (for the 2nd time)!

Hi everyone, new viewers and old alike!

Quick intro: My name is Jen Miller and I have a mind like an animator. I tend to sketch in the margins of notes during class, make pop culture references, and watch a lot of cartoons. This Blogger you're reading is where I put my animations, drawings, sketches, photoshop images, etc. for class and for my own amusement.

Currently I'm working on an idea for the advanced 2D animation class that I now know was a lot to chew. I'm going to attempt to sum it up in about two paragraphs:

Element Masters: Kibo's Strong Foundation

In a parallel earth, very similar to our own, there is a legend of the genesis. The One created everything, the living and the non-living, the animals, humans, and the spirits who lived to serve him. One day, a spirit rebelled and was imprisoned under the earth. Man let him out and severed ties with The One when the Twisted spirit used his power to turn nature against Man (Floods submerged the north, Earthquakes shook the south, Tornadoes plagued the west, Fire burned the East). Four animals, Wolf, Lion, Deer, and Horse, begged The One to forgive the humans and to let them lead the humans back to Him. The One agreed to their noble request and gave each of them the power over the elements to save man from the Twisted's destruction.

This Legend is true.

Several centures passed and now a young lion named Kibo is learning from his father how to control is powers and how to become king. However, something is causing chaos among the Elemental Masters and their families and Kibo is no exception. How will the young apprentice meet the challenge and who is behind the chaos that is consuming the Masters?

Crossing the Geekdoms 4

- Redstar quietly watched his growing clan. With his mentor in the Elder's den and his own kits now young warriors, he began to feel his age. However he gained comfort in knowing that at least his clan was growing stronger with each passing season...

Hi everyone who reads these blogs like there is no tomorrow,

I finally put my Gen1 clan cats together in one image! I also experimented with highlights and shadows again... went a little overboard on the highlights on Redstar and Bluewater's faces. eeeh... Also fixed Firered and Leafgreen's lineart and colors (mainly on the eyes where I placed the highlight on the lower part of the eye). Looks so cool *squee*... Now for sleep.....

166 Character sheets (part 2)

Young Asani (for the flashback sequence)
King of the Howling Plateaus (Villains source of pain)

Twist (the ancient evil disguised and out for revenge)
Anne (an ancient good who listens to evil's schemes)
Kibo (Our now adult protagonist with a calling destiny)
Shira (Love interest who's more interesting in the sequel)

(Nameless, but not lame-less)

Shegra (the assistant now much more mature)
Bonde (Our woobie in full bloom)
Hasa (the young boy who is blissfully unaware of the drama around him)
- My scanner officially hates me.

Hi everyone. FINALLY DONE. That is nearly all the characters. However, I did not make anymore character sheets. One running out of time. And two running low on patience. They're not that important anyway. Two are newborn infants that I don't plan having move in more than one perspective and the others are not that necessary.

166 Character sheets (part 1)

Young Kibo (Main Character who everyone relates to and has a troubling  event arise)
Bahari (the role-modal father figure)

Shegra (the young energetic assistant)

Helios (the stoic Fire Master)
Swift (the inexperienced one given big powers)
Aleesa (Water Master without personality)
Shani (the motherly one)
Elizabeth (the grumpy aunt dealt a bad hand)

Asani (the brother we'll surely miss)
Young Bonde (the woobie)

"Whitney" (bg lioness, named after the terrifying gym leader from "Pokemon")
"Helga" (bg lioness, named after obnoxious character from "Hey Arnold" )
"Angelica" (bg lioness, named after the spoiled brat from "Rugrats")
Asani (Villain with a tragic past)

Young Shira (the generic love interest)
-All of the characters?! Surely you jest!

Hi everyone,

I'm soooooo tired from this weekend of sketching characters! NEVER AGAIN WILL I HAVE A CAST OF 25+ CHARACTERS... NEVER! Okay so this is the part uno group of characters (I'm a writer first, animator second). Not sure if I want to do the second part of this story... more like I don't know when I'll make time to do it! I guess I'll try anyway... expect part 2 right away. I even put them in order for you and added almost TV-tropes to them to define their character (TV-tropes is sooo addicting).

Crossing the Geekdoms (part 3b)

Redstar
Bluewater

Greenfern

Yellowmouse
 - How do I have a life when I have school work, videogames, and cats occupying my time?

Hello again,

Now that they have color, do you get my joke? (I mean besides my friend and sempai who calls me sempai: Corrie) The last one should be a dead giveaway.
Also I heard a weird theory about the Pokemon Ditto and Mew from DidYouKnowGaming here (http://youtu.be/4HsxuGMWnXM) and I am now mentally scarred from his Legend of Zelda video.
