Jen is Rubberhose in... Color?

-"Starring tonight live with the Farm Animal Band, Jeeeeeeen Milllerrrrrr!"

Hi again. While I was at it, I decided to also add "color" to my Rubberhose self. I basically just colored it in RGB mode than turned it to Greyscale afterwards. No big deal.

♪Jellicle songs for Jellicle cats♫

-It's amazing what you can do when you have the time.

Hi, everyone who still is reading these posts during summer vacation! I must not know how to effectively work image files because all of my pics look really blocky (maybe I just need to draw bigger). I wish that I had Photoshop-Photoshop instead of Elements-Photoshop just because of the pen tool!
Anyway, this is a test coloring for two characters I'm working on based off characters from Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS. I did their lineart earlier this year if you recall. The ginger tabby is Demeter and the grey tabby (that still needs a lot more work) is Munkustrap (Yes, it sounds stupid, but blame the source material... if you dare).
I had lots of fun experimenting with the brushes in Elements for Demeter, but I think the white parts of her coat need to be darkened (maybe a very pale orange).

Animation: Walk and Jump with Office Giraffe

-W....I...P

Hello! Just uploading the walk and jump cycle for Office Giraffe. Stiiiiiill needs some work on it to appease my OCD nature. I'm excited for next semester, though. Next semester I will be in Artdm 166!

Animation: Page Fall

-Would someone close the window?!

Hi. Just finished my 3D Animation final presentation and thought I would spend my time uploading my animations from 2D animation class. Hope the video works, I don't remember what file type it was suppose to be.

Jen is Toy

-Fanime is coming, do you have your caffine?

Hi. Man, I'm tired now; I'm going to be EXHAUSTED next weekend. And when Jen gets tired, Jen snaps. Conventions stress me out for a few reasons:
1. My friends tend to wander everywhere and if I lose track of them anywhere in or near the convention, I LOSE THEM FOR HOURS.
2. I usually share a hotel room with four to six other people, many which I don't really know that well, and I don't sleep well in hotels to begin with.
3. I have flat feet which makes walking everywhere a literal pain.
& 4. I can be a people person during the most of any given day (It's kind of necessary to be human), but only if I'm given a bit of time to myself. That barely happens at a small con, and Fanime is huge.
So if you happen to be going to Fanime Con and you see me there, note my position and possible expression and remember: Contact at your own risk.

PS: Sorry for tossing baggage at you, but in my defense people hardly ever read this blog anyway. This is like therapy for my soul and psyche. *feelsmuchbetternowyouareagreatlistener*

Toy Characters and you probably won't get these references

-Just sit right back and I'll tell a tale....

Hi everyone. Bless you if you go the song reference above. These were my character designs from my homework assignment. This looks really cute! The Leviathan is giving the lion a ride! Sorry if you don't get the name puns. Most people have to be Sunday Schooled to have a chance of understanding.

Character: Kibo (Element Masters: Kibo's Strength)

-It's amazing what can spawn from a single tutorial head.

'Sup. This is a character design from that graphic novel idea I mentioned about earlier in this blog. This is Kibo (6 month old cub). I really like the first expression in the bottom left corner. It's kind of like "Uh oh, busted." The eyes on all of the heads could use work though.

Jen is surprised

-"I turned them invisible! MUAHAHA! Now no one will ever recognize you!"

Hello for the, like, ninth time today. Yeah, I drew and inked the entire face then realized that I had no glasses. This can be easily fixed, but I had no idea what my perspective was on this drawing so I just left them off and added a speech bubble. GENIUS!

Jen is Clown'n

-I'm kind of glad that my hair is strait as a board.

Hi. I don't think I could pass as a clown. I don't do pratfalls. Also, now you know why I wear my tall boots. My jeans are all close to flooding. I just keep getting taller.

Jen is Anime

- Pokemon designs are going downhill.

Hi again. In case no one heard any of my rants around the classroom, I'm a Pokemon fanatic. I've been one since first grade. From the anime to video games to merchandise. If you ever want to just speak your mind about Pokemon, go ahead; I'll join in and back you up... Unless you are totally against Generation 5 in which case I'll make some comment about how weird/ bland Generation 1 Pokemon are. Only a few G5 Pokemon are really bad and that's not enough for me to hate the whole Generation.

The Goddess

-Photoshop powers activate!

Hey again. This is just a quick sketch I drew on one of the last ACME meetings. Her dress is kind of cool, albeit kind of plain, but I love the mantle-belt thing. I also like the hands though her right wrist area distracts me. REMINDING MYSELF that this is just a rough sketch and will look better when I draw the lineart in Photoshop Elements.

THE FACES!

-THE HORRIBLE FACES!

Hiya. 100 incredibly small heads here mostly drawn from TV and magazines. I know now that I should have drawn bigger but I didn't want to waste paper (especially drawing paper) and I didn't feel like it. I can draw big, but I'm just more comfortable drawing small (Drew in margins of notes and many a syllabus in high school and college).

PS: Can you find Metal Gear Solid 3's Snake? He's late for his battle with the End.

Half-elf Barbarian? Sure.

-Blurtastic!

Hi, again. Again my Photoshop professor is not the most exciting. Classmate of mine actually fell asleep during a lecture. Poor guy.
Anyway! I kind of like this Half-elf Barbarian that I drew with Sharpie pen (not Sharpie felt-tip pen. Sharpie PEN), but everything from the waist down is iffy.

Office Giraffe Doodles

-Giraffes are so classy. They only drive cars with sunroofs. They would never drive anything else!

Hi, people who actually read this. Just a few drawings of Office Giraffe in his natural habitat: Civilization.
