Xailo

-My Photoshop teacher needs to fight for my attention.

Hi. I drew this during my first Photoshop 2 class. She's so cute! Her name is Xailo (pronounced Shilo). She has no fingers or toes. O_O;

Signed the girl who loves her anyway,
Jen

Laureled Eevee colored

It's amazing what you can do on Photoshop when you know only half of what your doing. It even has highlights and shadows (little experienced in that)! It could still use some work, but it's looking great!

Signed the girl geek,
Jen

Laughing Laureled Eeevee

This is what happens when I can't work in my 3D animation class because I can't reach my files because they're on another computer: I draw girls with Eevee features. Still awesome. I WAS EVEN ABLE TO COLOR IT. Stay tuned!

Character: Office Giraffe

Yay! Office Giraffe is now a bipedal character!
I've already planned out so much of this character I can write three episodes of a TV show right now! Okay more like 2 and a half.

Signed the girl with the limited emotion giraffe,
Jen

Jen is UPA

3rd times the charm. Yes, it took three tries to get this drawing the way it is. The first time I had tried to do the tall kind of character and failed, the second time I screwed up on the eyes, and finally nailed it the third time. UPA was not the easiest style for me. The face on the character mirrors my emotion at the time.

Signed the girl who didn't draw her glasses (whoops),
Jen

Jen is mad (emotionally)

-You're not even trying to pronounce Manga correct, are you?

Hello. Wow. I didn't even know I could draw a face that angry without looking too weird.

Signed the girl with the small cowlick,
Jen

Jen is Avery

Funny as heck!
When we received the assignment to draw ourselves as Tex Avery characters, I didn't know if I could pull off his zany style. No doubts now. :) Can't wait to do a presentation on this guy!

Signed the girl with hidden ears (seriously, they're not in this drawing),
Jen

Dominichi

-D'aaaw. You have to be the cutest of Hell's demons ever.

This semester I'm also taking a creative writing class. We were to write a three to five page story as a homework assignment and this was one of the characters (the most fleshed out of all the characters). He's a small, blind rabbit-like demon named Dominichi. This side character helps the main character escape from her prison cell in the Dark world. The wings are symbolic for his conflict: Can good come out of evil?

Signed the girl who likes this (purple eyed) creature,
Jen

Sack drawings

These are all of the sacks that I drew for the sack drop animation project. I didn't even use some of these.

Signed the girl with the signature glasses,
Jen

Jen is Rubberhose

Tada!
Hi, everyone! Ah, Rubberhose. (Interesting. Spellcheck on Chrome thinks "rubberhose" in the body of the post is incorrect, yet it's okay in the title box. WHAT?) I like the shape of the eyes in this one.

Signed the girl with the signature hoodie,
Jen

Vladimir Putin

*steamed*
This homework assignment... I hate it. It was my first attempt at the grey water pencil and the water brush. Didn't draw hard enough so you can barely see the shadows. Used way too much water so the page wrinkled (pet peeve). Putin doesn't even look like Putin!

Signed the girl wishing this assignment never happened,
Jen

Shy Willow

"Oh! H-hello..."

Aww she's shy. Willlowgirl was for that anthro-tree homework assignment. I originally had the idea to draw all of the leaves on her head, but after a while I changed to a more minimalistic approach. Looks better that way. I also spent so much time on the left hand and fingers!

Signed the girl who thinks little things count,
Jen

Snow Leopard

-Snow leopard sayz RAWR!

Hello! I got bored again! :)
I think I drew this after I had finished my paper fall project early. The paws are kind of wonky, but the head and face are impressive!

Signed the girl who likes to draw animals,
Jen

My Little Pony: Princess Celestia

...I don't have a problem. You- You have the problem. I can draw anthropomorphic ponies if I want to!
I'm just saying My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a well written show and has amazing animation... ALL DONE IN FLASH. You heard me, Flash. Don't hate it until after you've watched an episode or two.
By the way, that wing was sketched with sharpie only, no pencil guidelines.

Signed the girl who shouldn't have to defend herself,
Jen

Paper images

Hi again!
These are the paper drawings I used in my paper fall project. Yeeeees, this is all of them. This is why I love Flash so much; you can tweak one drawing ever so slightly and come out with something extremely different!

Signed the girl who watches Avatar: Legend of Korra,

Office Giraffe bring home the bacon

-D'awww, he's wearing a tie and works in a cubicle!

This is what happens when I get bored: Freaking GENIUS! It started with a drawing of a giraffe wearing a necktie, my mind wandered as I began to figure out is occupation, his name, his family, common mode of transportation, etc...
The only things that bother me are the crooked cubicles and the horizon line. My perspective was waaaay off.

Signed the girl who wonders what you do when your straight edge gets crooked,
Jen

Paper Fall Background

*OCD powers activate!*
-Nononononono! It's tilted at an angle!

This was my background for the paper fall project. Favorite project so far!

Signed the girl... that's it,
Jen

Jen is MAD

Hi!
This drawing was based off of Don Martin's MAD characters. To show that the character had the huge Don Martin ears, I drew myself holding my hair up. That's pretty funny.

Signed the girl that wears boots,
Jen

Silverspear and Nicole

"Strange as it seemed, Nicole never felt happier then when she became a servant to the dragon lord..."
Hi everyone! These original characters are from this novella idea I got (I'm not sure if the story could become a full 50,000 word novel). Again, wish I colored it.

Signed the girl who is kind of lazy,
Jen

Jen is OLD

-When I was your age, we only had 150 Pokemon... and Charizard couldn't fly!

I actually have a sweater and a sheleighly just like those. Lols.

Signed the girl who is preparing for retirement early,
Jen

The Chosen One and friends (Element Masters: Kibo's Strength)

Awww~! Three lion cubs going on an adventure!

Three original characters (from left to right) Ari, Kibo, and Bonde. They're from a graphic novel idea I have. Wish I could have colored it for you guys.

Signed the girl whose laptop has low RAM,
Jen

Jen is Simpsons

-Doh!

Morning, everyone who's reading this right now! Just a Simpsons character drawing. Nothing much.

Nikko's Contemplation

It's amazing what music can do. I listened to "Memory" from the Departures sound track and just kept clicking the replay button while I drew this. I wish I could have gotten the details on the tree bark, but I drew them really small and I don't have a sharpie that thin. The character is one of my original characters from the rough draft manga that I wrote: Nikko. Yes, he does have horns. He's a demon (Nephilim if you want it more specific).

Signed the girl whose food is getting cold,
Jen

Jen is Schultz

-This is the last time I pet sit for Charlie Brown!

Hi, everyone, I actually used my metal tipped pen for this! I also brushed a little red ink for color and that certainly was a learning experience. Apparently ink over ink causes the first layer (line art) to run. Gah...

Signed the girl who has an on and off relationship with her pen and ink,
Jen

Scribblege #1

A couple of drawings that I did out of boredom. Yes, they are on the same page as the cat line art but I figured they had no connection at all to them so they got their own image.

Signed the girl without the dragon tattoo,
Jen
(never read the book, by the way)

Cat Line Art

I like cats. Do you like cats, 'cuz I like cats.

I plan on coloring them soon... you know, if there is nothing to watch on YouTube.

Signed the girl who knows that there is hardly anything not on YouTube,
Jen

Confused Kitten

-It's true, they do write fiction about sparkly vampires.

Decided to draw a picture of a confused kitten, never looked back in shame.

Signed the girl who confounds cats,
Jen

Rise of the Monster Bird

-GAH! WHAT IS THAT THING?!
-Just a monster bird.

It's funny how this design came to be. When I started drawing, I was trying for a wyvern style... then it became a bloody bird! A cockatrice, essentially. Still cool anyway. I like the horns on the beak.
It sort of looks like a Burrowing Snagret or Pileated Snagret from Pikmin. Compare and see! (I guess that would make the warrior Steve the Trooper XD... I'm sorry if that went right over your head.)

Signed the girl who believes ALL red pikmin are troopers,
Jen

Grizabella rough sketch

Finally! A post!
Hi, everyone who actually reads this!

This was the first sketch that I put in my sketchbook this semester. This was technically for 3D animation class and she's not an original character. She's a character from the musical CATS. I decided to use her for a model in my 3D class and wanted to get in a quick rough sketch. It's pretty close to Elaine Page's appearance, especially the face!

Signed the girl who can spell "Tyrannosaurus" but needs spellcheck for "appearance",
Jen
